Other seasoned Chinese-oriented business team members include Jennifer Feng-Smith and Dr. Jerome Hill. With Theut, they comprise the China Bridge core and together bring more than 85 years of international experience, including fluency in Mandarin and Taiwanese. The China Bridge team has assisted dozens of Fortune 100 and 500 clients with China / U.S. entry strategies and structural business planning.
Chinese companies are increasingly exploring business opportunities in North America and are especially interested in investing in the United States. This interest is being driven by global business and economic factors as well as encouragement by the Chinese government for Chinese businesses to invest overseas, developing manufacturing and distribution centers in close proximity to important Chinese export markets.
U.S. companies frequently approach the Chinese market without thorough due diligence and an inadequate understanding of the Chinese culture or business practices. China Bridge assists clients to better position themselves to deal effectively with unfamiliar business, cultural, governmental and other unique challenges of doing business in China.
